Calgary police are still on the hunt for the person responsible for running over a male early Sunday morning.

Duty Insp. Travis Ibach said a large altercation occurred outside of the Back Alley nightclub at 2:21 a.m. The altercation ended when a vehicle leaving the parking lot struck a male.

The male was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries and may have already been released.

Police have obtained the vehicle that struck the male.

“It’s concerning because [the driver] didn’t stay after he hit the male,” said Ibach.
