Woody Tasch's message of "slow money" has earned rave reviews from numerous media outlets worldwide.

In a world where money changes hands in the blink of an eye, humanity’s most pressing problems are often ignored or overlooked, suggests a speaker in town this evening.

Woody Tasch will be at the Calgary Public Library Central Branch from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. preaching his message of “slow money.”

By slowing down the pursuit of profit, Tasch argues, we can reshape our local economy and establish communities and businesses that address the most pressing social and environmental struggles plaguing the planet.

Tickets to Tasch’s presentation are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. For more information, visit greencalgary.org.
