Canada’s funniest citizen could very well be living in Calgary – and you can see him or her in action tonight.

Yuk Yuk’s Calgary will host local trials for the Great Canadian Laugh Off starting at 7 p.m.

For a $5 entrance fee, you can watch some of Calgary’s hopeful jokesters battle it out for a chance to head to Toronto where they will compete for $25,000.

Yuk Yuk’s will also host the local semifinals on Saturday and finals next Wednesday. The comedy club is located inside the Elbow River Casino at 218-18th Ave. SE.
