Literary enthusiasts are invited tonight to help launch an author’s first published work set right here in Calgary.

Starting at 7 p.m. at Owl’s Nest Bookstore, Susan Calder will unveil Deadly Fall. The novel follows a woman named Paula Savard whose best friend Callie is murdered while jogging in the inner city. After some investigation, Paula’s suspicions zero in on Callie’s new husband, Sam. Those in attendance will be able to ask questions and get autographed copies of the book. Wine and refreshments will also be served.
