Families will hit the open road during the Great Depression–themed exhibit at Heritage Park this week.

Heritage Park is taking families on a journey back to the 1930s this week.  Spring Rally In The Alley runs 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Sunday inside the Gasoline Alley Museum.

Families will get to check out Scruffy – a rundown Nash car that carried one family on a trek through the Okanagan looking for work – and will be given a map, bank book and identification to help navigate their way across the museum.

Numerous Depression-themed obstacles will stand in the way as you travel through seven cities.

The event is geared to educate youngsters about the Great Depression while also providing loads of fun.
