Music and comedy will kick off a new arts series tonight at Calgary’s Cardel Theatre. Classic guitar-inspired musician Robbie Aylesworth and improv masters The Armadillos will be on hand for the first performance of the Syzygy at Cardel Series.

Aylesworth has toured around southern Alberta and brings with him the experience of collaborating with Australian musicians for six months. The Armadillos, meanwhile, routinely perform improv sets in Calgary and are known for their ability to weave together niche topics into a rib-tickling tale.
