Calgary’s music scene was shaken on Tuesday to learn Christopher Reimer, guitarist for local rock band Women, had died in his sleep. He was 26.

The post-punk group released two highly acclaimed albums, both produced by fellow Calgarian Chad VanGaalen, before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2010 after an onstage fight in Victoria during touring for Public Strain.
