If you’ve got a ticket, consider yourself lucky.
Sunday’s NHL pre-season game between the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins at the Metro Centre is a sellout.
In fact, all 10,500-plus tickets for the 7 p.m. contest have been gobbled up for several weeks now.
As to which players will suit up in the game, that shouldn’t be known until Saturday at the earliest.
The Canadiens and Bruins have yet to announce their rosters, with both teams saying they might unveil them on Saturday as players would need to know if they’re making the trip.
One would expect the Bruins to have two HRM residents in the lineup, including forward Brad Marchand of Hammonds Plains. The other is blue-liner and former Halifax Mooseheads captain Andrew Bodnarchuk, who recently re-signed with the Bruins for one season.
Bodnarchuk, who is also from Hammonds Plains, has played the past three years for the team’s American Hockey League affiliate in Providence.
Rosters for pre-season games are being posted on both the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens team websites.
