The London Lightning welcome the Halifax Rainmen in their season-opening game of the National Basketball League of Canada.

Tip-off time is 7:30 p.m. at the John Labatt Centre. The Lightning will play 18 home regular-season games in their inaugural season.

The seven-team league will play a 36-game regular-season schedule. London’s final regular-season tilt is against The Island (P.E.I.) on March 4.

The Quebec Kebs, Saint John Mill Rats, Moncton and Oshawa are the other teams in the NBLC.
