Luna Crêpes and Café could give the enterprise of espresso a run for its money with its charm and good food.
This café is tucked away in a strip mall, with a sign board sitting by the street that caused me to make a sharp turn to check it out.
Gelato, crêpes and good coffee. What more could you ask for? How about a nice patio for those non-rainy summer days?
Inside, you can sit at one of the many tables or lounge on a couch and enjoy the lime green, happy decor.
A popular crêpe is the Cajun Chicken, which had a slight spice to it, and would have been impeccable with a sauce. But anything wrapped in a crêpe is heavenly. On the side, I ordered an iced coffee, which was refreshing.
And for dessert, I tried one of the café’s Nanimo Bars, but it was a little stale. Overall, though, Luna shines.
