Give your ears a taste of India at Carleton University, which today hosts a lecture and demonstration of the sarod, an Indian stringed instrument, by Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan.

This free event, sponsored by the India High Commission as part of the Year of India in Canada, runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Carleton’s Kailash Mital Theatre. A reception will follow in the Loeb building’s foyer.

The group will also give a large public concert at the Museum of Civilization tomorrow.
