The Halifax Rainmen tied a franchise low for single-game scoring in Friday’s 83-78 road loss to the Saint John Mill Rats.

The Rainmen were a woeful 27-of-86 from the field, including 2-of-19 from three-point range, as they fell to third in the Premier Basketball League at 6-3, a half game behind the Quebec Kebs, 7-3.

Josh Dollard, with 14 points, and Mike Mercer, with 12, were the only two players to crack double figures.
