How many musicians do you know who’ve recorded tracks inside a 30,000 bushel grain bin? You could argue White Lightening is literally home grown.
They recorded three of the songs on their upcoming debut full-length album inside of the grain bin to “capture the incredible natural reverb and ambience that fits perfectly with the mood of the songs,” says resident band member Steve Bosch.
See it All is White Lightening’s first full-length album, most of which was exclusively crafted by the band.
The best way to experience their unique sound is through their crazy live show that integrates the use of beat boxes, megaphones, trash cans and even kazoos.
Because, you know… you got to have a kazoo.
It should come as no surprise that they’ve owned a few battle of the bands competitions in their day, and come Feb. 5, you can check them out for just $10.
The all-ages show held at Avenue Theatre (9030 118 Avenue) is the official CD release party.
Doors will open to the public at 7 p.m.
