Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart quietly welcomed 2010 together on an island off the south coast of England — a visit that made for an exciting evening for some young locals, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

Pattinson, 23, and Stewart, 19, were spotted by a young fan on New Year’s Eve in Ventnor, a seaside resort on the Isle of Wight, 80 miles south of Pattinson’s family home in west London. The New Moon costars happily posed for photos with the fan outside a grocery store — before vanishing like, well, vampires.
