Chris Brown is “embarrassed” about his assault on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, femalefirst.co.uk reports. The singer has spoken out about his humiliation at losing his temper with the 21-year-old beauty in an attack which left her covered in bruises and bite marks and has revealed he still can’t look at the photographs of her injuries.

He said: “It’s unbearable to view. It’s something that I have to live with every time they show it. I’m embarrassed that I couldn’t control my anger at that time. It’s a reminder that I have to be in control of my own actions and not anyone else’s. My actions today and in the past shape my future.”

In February, the 20-year-old musician lashed out at his ex-girlfriend following a pre-Grammy’s party. He was found guilty of the assault and ordered to 80 of community labour, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and five years probation.

The singer has vowed to “learn from” his behaviour.
