Genesis P. Orridge pioneered industrial music. But in The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye, we see the now middle-aged provocateur and his late in life lady love, a dominatrix artist he dubs Lady Jaye, undergo an extreme physical transformation in order to become a single “pandrogenic” entity.

Beneath the surface freak value of this doc however, is a tragic, moving love story.
