A Calgary man faces sexual-assault charges after complaints by two women in custody.

Calgary police say David James Bourassa, 63, who had been a Commissionaires court- security officer contracted to work at the downtown holding centre of the Court Services Section, is accused of fondling a woman in custody in March 2011. A second woman came forward in August 2011, saying she had been fondled while in custody on several occasions between 2009 and 2011.

Bourassa’s contract was terminated after the first complaint in April 2011. He’s charged with two counts of sexual assault and will appear in court again on March 15.
