The Canton Garden menu says that dim sum is translated as food that pleases the heart.  What more could one want?

While sipping our oolong tea, we order six dishes (about $30).  We should have staggered our order as almost everything arrives together.

The best is Stuffed Tofu with Shrimp, which looks and tastes great.

The hot and steaming Wonton Soup is also top-notch with four large wonton dumplings, the texture of pillows and flavoured with sage.  Meanwhile, the four Shrimp Dumplings are tender and tasty.

Black Bean Chili Ribs are fatty and need more chili, so we request hot sauce that does the trick.

It’s always a treat to have that sweet, glutinous rice called Sticky Rice -wrapped in Lotus Leaves.

The Pork Shui My is heavy and is our least favourite.

Most of the patrons here are Chinese. They know their Dim Sum and now we do, too.
