It seems like a pretty good idea: A range of conventional and exotic pizzas, made fresh while you wait, after which you take them home and bake them yourself whenever you want them.

I bought both a large pepperoni-and-sausage Cowboy and a large Herb Chicken Mediterranean.

The sweet staff moved gracefully to assemble them. Both were delicious and ready, piping hot, after less than 20 minutes.

The former delivered thick cheese and rich tomato sauce while the latter’s crisp, wafer-thin crust and fresh pesto were delightful.

However, unless you are particularly averse to delivery – or you are on your way somewhere beyond a driver’s range – there isn’t much difference.

And there wasn’t a big difference in price, save the delivery charge.

There are cheaper – if inferior – pizza options. Papa Murphy’s preps a good pie, but I don’t want to have to cook it, too.

Oh, and the Cowboy pizza was $18, the chicken $15.
