RED DEER, Alta. – A Facebook page supporting a central Alberta man charged in the death of his four-month-old daughter is no longer online.
A site called “In Support of Julian Thomson” had 61 members Wednesday, but is now gone.
Thomson was charged with second-degree murder after his daughter Zaria (zah-RYE’-ah) McCall died of undisclosed head injuries last month.
It’s unclear whether Facebook officials shut the site down or if it was removed by its creator.
Faron Weiss (FAIR’-ehn WISE), a friend of the child’s mother, brought attention to the posting and thanks everyone who opposed it.
