Just before Demi Moore announced she was divorcing him, Ashton Kutcher reportedly made a last-ditch effort to save their marriage by buying her a brand new car, according to TMZ.

Sources say Kutcher spent upwards of $100,000 for a 2012 Lexus, ordering it Nov. 9 – two days before Moore’s birthday.

It’s unclear if Moore accepted the gift or if Kutcher had to return it.
