There’s nothing worse than the 2 p.m. slump after lunch. Food courts aren’t much help in that department, but IQ Food Co. is changing the game with its insanely healthy and delicious food.
Focusing on unprocessed food in the form of five hot boxes, seven salads and five wraps, IQ delivers big portions at reasonable prices. The intense flavours and energizing food (read: filling, but never heavy) seems like a delightful bonus.
Mexi Cobb Salad ($9.29) blends romaine with huge chunks of avocado, black beans, corn, halved grape tomatoes, grilled chicken, fresh jalapeno slices and julienned jicama with a slightly smoky adobo dressing. The burrito-sized Beet + Goat (cheese) Wrap ($7.96) is stuffed with shredded beets, goat cheese, apple, almonds, avocado, spring mix and balsamic vinaigrette.
Also, get a soup. The Spring Pea ($3.32 cup/$3.85 bowl) is wicked.
You’re going to have a ton more energy now.
