RocketNews24/YouTube Can you count to 1,050?

The Bacon Pride movement has been firmly entrenched in North America for a few years now, but it also seems to be alive and well in Japan.

Proudly standing at the tip of Japan’s bacon spear is Burger King, which is offering patrons the grease-soaked option of adding 15 pieces of bacon to a Whopper for 100 yen, which is about $1.20 Canadian.

Since we can infer the customer has no fear of bacon because they already happen to be standing in a Burger King, the only logical choice here is to take them up on the offer. Less logical is to take them up on it several times over on the same burger, which is exactly what Rocket News 24′s intrepid Mr. Sato did.

And yes, that’s 105 strips of bacon. On a Whopper. But wait. It gets worse.

Enter this 1,050-slice monstrosity of a follow-up, which earned a valiant effort from Mr. Sato, as well as at least one awestruck stare.

Yikes.
