For Metro/Julian Brass Sam Ronson playing for a packed house at the Hoxton, for the JNF Future Party fundraiser.

Just last week at this time Toronto, Hollywood, and the international film industry awaited the official start of TIFF 2012. Tonight is a quieter one on the TIFF social scene. Why? My call is that most folks need a night off from several late ones this past week.

That’s not to say there aren’t some fantastic parties still happening. Here’s what I’m looking at:

On my radar is the JNF Future Party fundraiser featuring celebrity DJ Sam Ronson ( Ring a bell? Think: Lindsay Lohan). There’s a lot of buzz surrounding this charity event; it won’t disappoint. It’s happening at The Hoxton.

Then, award-winning director, Rob Stewart will be celebrating his film Revolution at C Lounge tonight. This film is the follow up to his critically acclaimed film, Sharkwater. With the weather being as beautiful as it is tonight is a great evening for C Lounge.

Later on I will be stopping by for the private screening after party of Love, Marilyn there’s a heavyweight cast in this film, including Ben Foster, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood, Elizabeth Banks, Uma Thurman, Jeremy Piven, Viola Davis, Adrien Brody, and Lindsay Lohan so it should be quite the cocktail party.

Until then, stay notable.
